On to Bangkok Today--Monday

This morning we're preparing to leave the Asian retreat and return to Bangkok. Tomorrow early am (tues), Bekah and I will fly to New Dehli, India, and the Myers' family will be departing for home. We've had a great 10 days together--I've had individual meetings with each team member/family and also extended time with the team at the retreat. Bekah and the grandparents held a wonderful 4 day bible school for the missionary children(8 of them), and yesterday they did a program for us, articulating what they have learned. We spent time reflecting last evening what we've learned during these days, and had a special time of prayer for each person/couple, and for Lynn and Amy. Bob and Linda Kipley did a great job of facilitating the retreat. These have been special days of meeting, connecting, building relationships and recognizing that God is in control of all things. Bekah has thrived in the setting and culture here in Thailand. I am amazed at how quickly and easily she's adapted to "team life", and her surroundings. She continues to feel a bit anxious about our upcoming time in India, as once again she will recognize the needs and challenges in another part of the world. She is looking forward to visiting one of our SPICE hostels, as she has a great heart for children. Thanks so much for your prayers, encouragement and notes to us! Chris and Bekah
